I just thought, here you are, but you don’t know who I am. This is me.
I am Michelle. It is so nice to meet you.
I am a chef and a wife and a mother, a spinner and a weaver, a daughter and a friend, a horsewoman, a dog lover and a farm wife, a motorbike rider and an adventurer. My firm belief is that all people should be able to eat well and that food should be simple and delicious, and that people (like me) with food intolerances should not have to go without the good bits, which is why this blog was born.
I have been asked by a few friends why I had Moon Brother disable the comments on this blog, as they would like to put some in, the reason for this is because I didn’t want to get too caught up in conversation. I have two businesses, a farm, a husband, two grown up children, two young horses I have been ignoring, a uni degree I am undertaking and a little bit of volunteering on the side, so it is not that I am not interested in what you have to say, it is just that I don’t have time to be answering and my dear Mum taught me good manners from an early age, and one of the things she taught me was, it is polite to answer.
The other thing you may have noticed is that this blog is quite personal, I am not so good at the privacy filters other people have, so the no comments clause is a bit of a protection for me against people who have negative things to say.
If you see a recipe that you really like, click the little red heart at the bottom of the post, if I get a proliferation of red hearts I will know that recipe has been well received and I will do more like that. Have a great day!
