Bees in my lemon trees! Did you know that lemon trees are the only fruit tree we cultivate that can have mature fruit, embryonic fruit and flowers all at the same time? My lemon trees struggle because I have little water for them, but we have, all five of us, (myself, two Lisbons, one Meyer and one Eureka) made a concentrated effort this year and we have lemons! And flowers, and as you can see, bees. I love this picture of the little guy with his saddle bags full of pollen.

Lovely bees. And so life shall give me lemons (I hope) and we shall return to the Cookie House together to make lemonade.
